This company represents the most disgraceful conduct I have ever experienced by an insurance company. Beware! It's no accident that they do not have a gap payment system. Everything is reviewed after you pay for care, without any transparency. Past vet history is distorted with creative interpretation and by linking unrelated events to suit their fundamental objective - which is to avoid paying one single cent back.
No one plans for an unexpected vet trip and a bill of $1600 but thankfully we were covered by PetsOnMe and only had a small excess to pay. Out babies paw has healed nicely. My fur baby had to be rushed to emergency as she swallowed a corn cob. Vets did an amazing job to retrieve the cob successfully. I have been with Pets on Me insurance for some years now, we had a Greyhound and have a whippet, we lost our greyhound over a year ago to kidney failure and had no issue with the claim with POM, they were so helpful and understanding, the process was completely without stress and I received my reimbursement within two days of claiming. This week my whippet snapped her Cruciate Ligament and needed surgery, I have been reimbursed within 2 days of claiming, Mallory has been assessing my claim and despite having to find the funds up front everything has been completely stress free. I could not recommend this insurer enough for your fur babies, they are simply the best around. And to think I nearly cancelled my policy after losing my greyhound as my whippet was not as clumsy...I am so glad I didn't. Thanks to all the staff from sales to claims, especially Mallory.
